FAQs

Below are some of the most frequently asked questions.

For a faster and easier experience with dealing some of your questions, please refer to the below FAQs, if there are any questions not displayed that you still would like to ask, then please feel free to get in touch.

What is the minimum number of people you take per booking?

I take a minimum of 3 people per booking, or minimum spend of £310 per wedding day booking (excluding travel expenses).

Do I need a trial?

I do highly recommend you having one. This means we can make sure your dream look is achievable on your hair, so then we can begin the wedding morning stress free knowing you’ll love the finished look. If you didn't have a trial we wouldn't know if your ideal hairstyle can be achieved or not e.g. you may need extensions for length, thickness, hold... padding to create a fuller bun...you may need extra faceshaping cut in etc.

How long does a trial take?

A hair trial can take approximately 2 hours. This covers a detailed consultation to discuss your wedding plans and wedding morning details, discover your ideal hairstyle and plenty of time to try out the style.

Where will my trial take place?

I am a mobile hairstylist so your trial will take place at your home or your friend/family member’s home. Wherever is best for you. (Travel expenses may apply).

Do I need to wash my hair the day before the wedding?

We will discuss at your hair trial when is best for you to wash your hair. 90% of the time it'll be the night before. Please use shampoo and conditioner, and make sure you dry your hair so it is 100% dry, but don’t do any other styling to it otherwise it may make it difficult for me on the day. No straightening please! CLICK HERE to read my blog post on how to prep your hair the night before the wedding.

How do I book?

Please fill out the enquiry form with as much detail as possible to receive availability or a personalised quote. If you’d like to go ahead with your booking, I will send you my T&C's to read through. Once you've read and are happy to go ahead with the booking I will take a £50 non-refundable deposit to secure the date, by BACs.  Please refrain from using other methods of communication as it's easier for me to keep a thread by email of all conversation in one place.

How do I make payment?

The deposit will need to be paid by BACs, your date is not reserved until deposit had been made. Trials are to be paid 24 hours before the trial. The remaining wedding day balance must be paid at least 1 week before your wedding day.

When is best to book you to do my wedding hair?

It is best to book me around 1 year - 18months before your wedding or as soon as you have secured your wedding date as I get booked up quickly, especially during the peak season.
